Accessibility

• Access by public transport: From Bern main station, you can take bus no. 12 in the direction of Zentrum Paul Klee. From the bus stop, an 80 m long footpath leads to the main entrance in the Middle Hill (approx. 15 metres of gravel at the beginning, then asphalt).
• Access by car or disabled transport: There are three disabled parking spaces available. Wheelchair users can pay for and validate parking tickets at the museum ticket desk until 5 pm, since the machine controls are located high up. Access to the delivery area is also possible for disabled transport by prior arrangement.

Visitors with a disability pay the reduced admission fee. One accompanying person is admitted free of charge. The Kulturlegi is valid at the Zentrum Paul Klee.

• Wheelchairs: The Zentrum Paul Klee is wheelchair-accessible. Wheelchairs are available to borrow in the museum for people with walking difficulties. The Museumsstrasse and all exhibition rooms of the Zentrum Paul Klee have a wooden floor that is easily accessible by wheelchair.
• Concerts in the auditorium: The auditorium on the ground floor of the North Hill is easily accessible thanks to the elevator. We will be happy to accompany you to your seat. Ask for suitable seats for wheelchair users when you buy your tickets in advance.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets are located on the ground floor of the North Hill, in the ladies' and men's toilets. The washbasin is wheelchair accessible and the mirror is swivelling and low.

• Guide dogs are welcome at the Zentrum Paul Klee.
• Texts in large print on the current exhibitions can be obtained from the museum ticket desk.
• Several times a year, we organise Sinn-Reich guided tours designed specially for people with disabilities in which works of art are made tangible with suitable aids such as tactile reliefs or source copies.

• We provide induction loops for the audio guides to the exhibitions.
• Audio guide tours and exhibition texts can be accessed free of charge with your smartphone via our Digital Guide.
• On request, we can organise guided tours for groups of deaf or hearing impaired people.
